Konstanz

Konstanz is a very beautiful city. The city centre is beside the lake and surrounded by small villages. Roland used to live in one of them called Dettingen. During our stay in Konstanz, we went to see a castle and the flower island, which are in other posts. We visited the University of Konstanz. Its building style was very fashionable in 70's. We managed to meet one of Roland's best childhood friends, Dominik. We caught up with a tail of the famous Oktoberfest. We went to see the garden of a famous German sculpturer. He puts his works in his garden where everybody can see from the outside. I like his style very much. Outside Roland's window, the sunset is always fabulous. Konstanz is a city that can be compared with Dunedin.


















































Eating Dünnele with Roland's family. Dünnele is a kind of German "pizza". Instead of tomato sauce, there is a white sauce made of sour cream and eggs. Tastes very good.
